We had a wonderful weekend in Jonesboro for Mother's Day. Ellen and Grand Sue and I had fun taking pictures with my new camera. We took pictures of Ellen in front of the same azaleas and oak tree that I stood in front of for pictures so long ago. It is nice to go home every once in awhile.
We had a belated birthday for the twins and had fun getting together. My sister treated me to a pedi for Mother's Day. So nice! The best part was when Ellen had her finger nails painted. So cute. She stood so still for them to dry, too. I am not too much on little girls being too mature or dressing too grown up, but I have to admit that the Cajun Shrimp on her little nails was pretty cute. She knew she was having something special done. As long as you tell her "Ellen, you look so pretty", she'll go for anything!
We went to church on Sunday and had lunch and then headed back home for another week!
This past weekend we were treated by one of our friends in his suite at Dickey Stephens Park. I have to admit that Jo and I did not think we would last long with Ellen there. We should have know that our little "Social Butterfly" would love the game and all of the attention. When we hit the 7th Inning Stretch, I knew we were going to make it.
Nic and Whitney joined us and we had a blast. I think Ellen thinks Nic is cute! She loves Whitney too. We all enjoyed the Cotton Candy, especially Ellen. She was sticky from head to toe by the time we left.
We had a great time! Thanks Jim Bob!
That is all for now. Off to do some embroidery. We're still working hard at The Paisley Pig and http://www.thepaisleypigmarket.com/ should be live by the end of next month. Keep checking our site!

Really bad at this. . .
Okay, I set out on this adventure wanting to keep everyone in the loop. However, I have only made one post in nearly 2 weeks! We have been quite busy, though. I had to serve on a Federal Jury for one week and Jo was gone this past weekend. Flying solo with Ellen is an adventure to say the least!
It took me away from Ellen and made Jo realize how much I do around here during the day. The house was, needless to say, torn up when I finished on Thursday. He's pretty good at taking care of Ellen but I have come home to find her drinking Diet Coke out of a sippy cup. Not appropriate!
We have a big weekend planned for Mother's Day and are looking forward to that!

Here goes. . .
Okay, here goes! I guess this is what all the cool girls at school do!
I have been receiving updates on my friend Tennille's blog for her sweet girls and have been pressured into doing this. No, really. I think this is such a wonderful way to share our wonderful lives with everyone.
We really have quite a simple life. I have recently become a stay-at-home mom and am loving every minute with my beautiful baby girl, Ellen. I am starting an at-home business and that keeps me pretty busy. Check it out at www.thepaisleypigmarket.com We're not up and running yet, but plan to be before the end of next month.
My wonderfully brave husband works for the City of Little Rock and stays pretty busy fighting crime. Well, not really, he just makes sure everyone else is fighting crime. He is a very successful Sergeant and is very respected among his peers.
We stay busy with our church, Immanuel Baptist and I enjoy volunteering for the JLLR and Riverfest. Other than that, we just have fun! I love to take Ellen to the zoo, the Rivermarket, shopping. All of those things that moms do. Jo and I love to go to Razorback and Indian games, vacation and visit our families.
So, I guess that is all for now. Hope everyone enjoys taking a peek into our lives and keeping up with us! Hope all is well.
